From 6th - 11th of June, The Province of Zuid-Holland, together with national players in the Dutch water sector, hosted several activities during the Holland Water Week at the World Expo Shanghai 2010. During this week they presented the Dutch knowledge and experience to the world and to China in particular.

The Holland Water Week took place in the Holland Pavilion and was visited by more than 600 guests of which a greater part Chinese representatives of companies, institutes and government officials. The Dutch delegation was led by the vice-governor of the Province of Zuid-Holland, Lenie Dwarshuis-Van de Beek, and included 45 members.

The Netherlands plays a leading role in delta- and water technology. During the Holland Water Week topics like water management, water treatment and distribution abilities were addressed.  Read the full report
