This website is the official site for the Holland Water Week, a seminar during the World Expo in Shanghai China. A consortium of specialist Dutch Water organizations host the seminar. Leading organization is the Province of Zuid Holland, facilitated by the Netherlands Water Partnership (NWP) , your one stop shop for the Dutch Water Sector. Province of Zuid-Holland (Chair of the Holland Water Taskforce)
Zuid-Holland (South-Holland) is a bustling, multifaceted province, home to 3.5 million people. Lots of people, lots of activity. Zuid Holland has around 130,200 registered businesses. The province also boasts various centres of knowledge and expertise, including three universities in Leiden, Delft and Rotterdam, the TNO research laboratories, Estec and the Innovation Centres. Rotterdam with its mainport is South-Holland’s largest city. The provincial capital is The Hague, which is the seat of national goverment.

Evides
Evides is the second-largest water company in The Netherlands based on supply connections, supply volumes and revenue. It supplies 158 million m³ drinking water and supplies 80 million m³ industry water to some 60 major clients. The company also treats waste water from Amsterdam Airport Schiphol and several other industrial complexes. Nethwater
NethWater is a consortium consisting of Dutch companies Evides Industriewater, Norit Membrane Technology, Royal Haskoning and Witteveen + Bos. NethWater focuses on water treatment for industrial customers in mainly the chemical and petrochemical and in selected areas only (mainly the Gulf area and China). Instead of supplying just water treatment plants, NethWater offers fully outsourced solutions to its industrial customers by means of DBFO (Design, Build, Finance and Operate). NethWater boasts references within all major (petro)chemical multinational companies and makes use of both proven technology as well as innovative new process designs.

Netherlands Water Partnership (NWP)
The Netherlands Water Partnership (NWP) is a comprehensive network that unites Dutch water expertise. But NWP is more than an information source, the organisation also initiates, coordinates and executes projects for its members, such as trade missions, exhibitions and conferences. Vitens-Evides International
Vitens-Evides International supports local water companies in developing and transition countries to improve their operations, become financially healthy and extend their services to the urban poor. We are currently involved in supplying safe drinking-water to more than 20 million people in Ghana, Malawi, Mongolia, Mozambique, Suriname and Vietnam. With these projects we contribute towards achieving one of the UN Millennium Development Goals: Halving the number of people in the world without access to clean drinking-water and sanitary facilities by 2015.

The Association aims to promote the interests of Regional Water Boards (‘waterschappen’) at a national and international level. All 26 Regional Water Boards are member of the Association.
